Maintenance
Track service history, date or mileage reminders, repair costs, notes, and attachments. Reminders are scheduled when you enable them.
Documents, maintenance, expenses, trips, parts, and vehicle history—organized on your iPhone and owned by you.

Your vehicle operating system
Ownership information is usually split between gloveboxes, receipts, email, notes, photos, repair shops, and memory. Great Honk turns those fragments into one organized record that follows the vehicle for as long as you keep it.
The long view
Great Honk keeps the practical details, the money, the movement, and the history close to the vehicle they belong to.
Track service history, date or mileage reminders, repair costs, notes, and attachments. Reminders are scheduled when you enable them.
See recorded fuel, charging, repairs, maintenance, registration, insurance, parts, purchase, and sale amounts by vehicle.
Record road trips, work routes, RV travel, mileage, notes, and photos. Location recording starts only when you start a trip.
Know which parts, fluids, filters, tires, tools, and consumables you already own—including partial quantities and vehicle fit.
When it is time to sell, your private maintenance and ownership story is already organized and ready for you to present.
Create separate CSV exports or a versioned Great Honk archive. Archive import is not available yet, so keep exported copies safe.
Made for real life
Quick Add asks for a vehicle, lets you choose the event, and keeps the form focused on what matters. Nothing is submitted unattended.

Privacy is architecture
Great Honk is designed without a central Great Honk vehicle-record database. The app works locally, without a required Great Honk account, advertising profile, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK.
Built to be useful
Great Honk began with a simple frustration: a vehicle creates years of paperwork, maintenance, expenses, parts, and memories, yet the complete record rarely feels like it belongs to the owner.
Built for iPhone, designed around fast real-world entry, useful across many kinds of vehicles, and focused on ownership rather than surveillance.
Launching as a free appRetain former vehicles instead of throwing their history away.
Know what you serviced, what you spent, and what you already own.
Optional support
Voluntary contributions may support continued development, accessibility improvements, more vehicle types, clearer documentation, long-term iPhone compatibility, and free access to the app.
Contribution options are not live yet and are not described as tax-deductible.
